Why We're Here

Every year, perfectly good audio gear ends up in landfills because manufacturers won't share schematics, won't sell parts, or actively design products to be unrepairable. A $3,000 amplifier with a $2 capacitor fails — and the manufacturer says "buy a new one."

You bought it. You own it. You should be able to fix it.

Right to Repair

We support the right to repair every piece of audio equipment you own:

• Access to schematics and service manuals
• Availability of parts for at least 10 years
• No warranty voiding for opening the case
• Diagnostic access — error codes and service modes shouldn't be dealer-only

Right to Modify

Swap the op-amps in your DAC. Rebuild the crossover in your speakers. Tube-roll your amp until it sings the way you want it to. There's no "wrong" way to modify your own gear.

Accessibility & Hearing Inclusion

• Hearing accessibility — hearing aids, CIs, assistive listening, custom EQ for hearing loss
• Physical accessibility — adaptive tools and modified controls for working on gear
• Economic accessibility — repair is an equalizer. Keep gear you can afford.
• Knowledge accessibility — plain language, no jargon gatekeeping
